- Automotive sales experience is not required
Day to day of a Vehicle Specialist at Al West Nissan
- Greeting customers arriving at the dealership
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Highlight the dealership’s vehicles and explain their features and warranties to customers
- Answer customer questions about vehicles, financing, and the purchase process
- Accompany customers on test drives, collecting licenses and documentation beforehand per best practices
- Negotiate vehicle prices and trade-in values for customers’ vehicles and handle customer concerns or objections
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to achieve better results
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
- Coordinate with the finance department to determine each customer’s financing and ownership options
- Keep up to date of best practices and promotional trends
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Actively be seeking out new opportunities through sales prospecting, networking, and social media
- Maintaining proper customer follow up schedules
